Abstract

Erythema multiforme (EM) and urticarial vasculitis (UV) are two types of inflammatory skin conditions that can occur due to various triggers, including infections. COVID-19, caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, has been associated with several dermatological manifestations, including EM and UV. The relationship between these skin conditions and COVID-19 infection remains unclear, and it is not known whether these conditions occur as a direct result of the virus or as a secondary effect of the immune response. In this article, we will discuss the case report of a patient diagnosed with EM, who later developed UV after contracting COVID-19.
