Objective: To investigate the effect of Qingfei Chengqi Granules on apoptosis of alveolar macrophages in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).
Methods: A total of 56 ARDS patients who received diagnosis and treatment in our hospital from January 2021 to June 2022 were selected and divided into an observation group and a control group according to the random number table method, with 28 cases in each. The patients in the control group were treated with Dachengqi Decoction on the basis of routine treatment, and the patients in the observation group were treated with Qingfei Chengqi Granules on the basis of routine treatment. The treatment effect, oxygenation index (PaO2/FiO2), acute physiology and chronic health status score (APACHE II score), apoptosis rate of alveolar macrophages, Caspase3 and Bcl-2 in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) were compared between the two groups Protein expression, inflammatory markers, and prognostic markers.
Results: The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, PaO2/FiO2 in the observation group was significantly higher than before treatment and control group (P<0.05), APACHE II score and alveolar macrophage apoptosis rate were significantly lower than those before treatment and control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the expression of Bcl-2 protein in the two groups was significantly higher than before treatment, and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05), the expression of Caspase3 protein in the two groups was significantly lower than before treatment, and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of serum CRP and PCT in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05). The days of ICU stay, total length of stay and duration of mechanical ventilation in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).
Conclusion: The use of Qingfei Chengqi Granules in the treatment of ARDS patients has a good effect, which is beneficial to inhibit the apoptosis of alveolar macrophages, reduce the body's inflammatory response, and reduce the severity of the disease, and improve the prognosis.
