Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this article is to study the diagnostic value of the ultra-high-power microscopy of pharyngeal swabs of patients with respiratory mycoplasma infections and its role in promoting the treatment of respiratory diseases in patients.

Methods: The mycoplasma culture medium test and mycoplasma IgM test were compared in terms of their positive rates and their advantages and disadvantages.

Results: The results of the study showed that the positive rate for the mycoplasma IgM test was 48.78%. The ultra-high magnification microscope was obviously superior and has the advantage of being fast and low cost while producing accurate results. Its positive rate is as high as 88.09%.

Conclusion: Using ultra-high-power microscopy to examine pharyngeal swabs from patients with respiratory mycoplasma infection is of great significance.
