Abstract

Objective: To explore the predictive value of serum omentin-1, PAF-AH and resistin in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with pulmonary hypertension.

Methods: 83 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) treated in our hospital from May 2020 to June 2021 were selected as the research object of this experiment. They were divided into a COPD group (41 cases) and a COPD combined with pulmonary hypertension (PH) group (42 cases). At the same time, 45 healthy subjects were selected as the control group. The general data of the three groups were compared, the expression of serum omentin, resistin and PAF-AH in the three groups were analysed, the risk factors of COPD complicated with PH were analysed by logistic regression, and the ROC curve was established to analyse the predictive value of serum omentin, PAF, PAF-AH and resistin in COPD complicated with PH.

Results: Compared with the control group, serum omentin-1 and PAF-AH in the COPD and COPD combined with PH groups decreased significantly, and resistin increased significantly (P<0.05); Compared with the COPD group, serum omentin-1 and PAF-AH decreased significantly and resistin increased significantly in the COPD combined with PH group (P<0.05); Logistic regression analysis showed that serum omentin-1, resistin and PAF-AH could be used as independent risk factors for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with pulmonary hypertension; the AUC values of omentin-1, resistin, PAF-AH and joint prediction were 0.625, 0.768, 0.692 and 0.862, respectively.

Conclusion: Omentin-1, resistin and PAF-AH can participate in the inflammatory response of COPD with PH and play an important role in the development process of COPD with PH. Their combined detection can have a high predictive effect on COPD with PH and provide new ideas for the treatment of the disease.
