Abstract

Gastric cancer (GC) patients need to wait for a period of time from diagnosis to surgery. The patients' waiting before surgery will lead to the decline of the patients' physical condition, the elevation of the psychological burden, etc. Pre-rehabilitation is the preoperative optimization of Enhanced Recovery after Surgery and mainly refer to a series of preoperative interventions such as kinesitherapy, nutritional support, and psychological adjustment. This research reviewed the implementation method, frequency, site, and efficacy evaluation of kinesitherapy-based pre-rehabilitation in GC surgery patients, which provides a theoretical basis for medical staff in China to implement pre-rehabilitation to elevate the clinical efficacy of GC patients after surgery.
