Introduction: : To investigate the application value of color Doppler ultrasound in the early screening of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy.
Materials and methods: 70 neonates with neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy who received consultation in our hospital from January 2018 to January 2020 were selected as the subjects of this study and included in the HIE group, and 70 healthy neonates in the same period were selected as the control group. Color Doppler ultrasound was used to examine all neonates participating in the study, and the differences between hemodynamic parameters and ultrasound grading and clinical grading were compared between the neonates in each group according to clinical grading.
Results: Vs and Vd of the anterior and middle cerebral arteries were significantly lower (P<0.05) and PI and RI were significantly higher (P<0.05) in all three groups of HIE neonates at 48 h after birth compared with control neonates. At 72 h after birth, there was no significant difference in Vs, Vd, and PI between the groups of children with HIE (P>0.05). The results showed that PSV and EDV in the mild group were lower than those in the control group, PSV and EDV in the moderate group were lower than those in the control and mild encephalopathy groups, PSV and EDV in the severe group were lower than those in the control, mild and moderate groups, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); RI in the severe group was higher than that in the control, mild and moderate groups, RI in the moderate group was higher than that in the control and mild groups, and RI in the moderate group was higher than that in the control and mild groups. The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Color Doppler ultrasound diagnosed 63 children with HIE, and the diagnostic compliance rate was 90%.
Conclusion: The use of color Doppler ultrasound to monitor the indicators of neonates after birth is of great significance for the early diagnosis and clinical treatment of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, and has the value of promotion.
