Abstract

Iodinated thyroglobulin (TG) can reflect the iodine content in thyroid hormone and thyroid tissues in human body. In recent years, studies have shown that the level of TG is closely related to thyroid function. But in the current stage, the relationship between iodinated TG and autoimmune thyroiditis is still controversial, and yet to be confirmed by further studies. Based on the above problems, this paper overviews the formation and determination of iodinated TG, the mechanism of action of iodinated TG at the molecular level and the induction effect of iodinated TG on autoimmune thyroiditis, with a view to provide a reference for in-depth experiments and clinical studies in the future.
