Abstract

Objective: to investigate the protective effect of yishenqinglihuoxue Recipe on renal function of patients treated with cisplatin.

Methods: 80 cases of lung cancer patients treated with cisplatin were randomly divided into Shenkang group and control group, 40 cases in each group. The control group received conventional chemotherapy treatment and nursing, and the Shenkang group received yishenqinglihuoxue Decoction on the basis of this. The clinical efficacy, renal function changes, health status and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.

Results: The effective rate and control rate of Shenkang group were 57.5% and 87.5% respectively, which had no statistical significance compared with 52.5% and 82.5% of control group (P>0.05), but the number of treatment cycles in Shenkang group was (5.3±0.8) significantly higher than that in control group (4.2±0.7) (P<0.05). After treatment, Ser and CER of Shenkang group were (97.2±8.1) μ mol/L and (67.3±5.3) ml / min, which were significantly better than those of control group (105.2±8.4) μ mol/L and (55.6±3.2) ml/min (P<0.05). After treatment, the body weight and physical strength scores of Shenkang group were (62.9±2.5) kg and (83.5±10.4) points, which were significantly higher than those of the control group (60.5±3.2) kg and (81.7±12.8) points (DP<0.05). The incidence of nausea and vomiting and renal function injury in Shenkang group were 27.5% and 2.5% respectively, which were significantly lower than 62.5% and 12.5% in control group (P<0.05).

Conclusion: Yishenqinglihuoxue decoction has protective effect on lung cancer patients treated with cisplatin, reduce the damage caused by cisplatin, and improve the quality of life of patients.
