Abstract

Objective: To observe the effect of medical-care integrated management on self-management ability and complications of postoperative chemotherapy patients with cervical cancer.

Methods: A total of 86 patients with cervical cancer who received postoperative chemotherapy in the gynecological tumor ward of Hainan General Hospital from June 2016 to June 2019 were included and divided into two groups according to the nursing mode. The medical care integrated management group (n=44) were treated under the medical care integrated management mode. The control group (n=42) were treated under the regular nursing mode. The patients in the two groups were followed up for 3 months after discharge. The changes of self-management ability, complication rate, quality of life, negative emotion, nursing satisfaction and readmission rate were observed.

Results: Compared with the control group, the scores of self-management ability, Quality of Life Instruments for Cancer Patients-Cervix Cancer and nursing satisfaction were increased (P<0.05), while the incidence of complications, Self-Rating Anxiety Scale scores, Self-Rating Depression Scale scores and readmission rate were decreased (P<0.05) in the medical care integrated management group.
