Abstract

Objective: To explore the clinical effect of individualized rehabilitation exercise combined with arthroscopy on meniscus injury patients and its influence on knee joint function.

Methods: Totally 219 patients with meniscus injury collected in our hospital were taken as the research objects. All patients received arthroscopic treatment. Among them, 106 patients assisted by traditional nursing methods were taken as control group, and 113 patients assisted by individualized rehabilitation exercise on the basis of control group were taken as research group. The therapeutic effects between the two groups were observed.

Results: The excellent recovery rate of knee joint function in the research group was 83.19%, while that in the control group was 70.76%. Compared with the control group, the research group had a higher excellent rate of treatment (P<0.05). The pain at the knee joint of the two groups of patients was relieved, and the visual analogue scale (VAS) of knee joint pain in the research group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Under different effects, Lysholm knee scoring scale (Lysholm), Tegner activity scale (Tegner) and International Knee Joint Documentation Committee (IKDC) knee evaluation score improved in both groups, and Lysholm, IKDC and Tegner score of the research group were slightly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the research group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). After different interventions, the negative emotions and quality of life improved in both groups, and the improvement effect was more obvious in the research group (P<0.05).

Conclusion: Individualized rehabilitation exercise combined with arthroscopy can significantly improve the clinical therapeutic effect of meniscus injury patients, improve their knee joint function, and effectively reduce their negative emotions.
