Abstract

Background: segments and the boats in simulation games of different stroke rate, using men’s lightweight pair rowers in Guangdong Province as the study object.

Methods: literature study, expert interview, test and mathematical statistics.

Results: first, the oar degrees corresponding to the velocities of body segments reflect the changing of oar degrees under diffe- rent velocities, and they can also check the synchronous velocity rhythm of non-single rowing; second, the wave troughs' amplitude and quantity hamper the velocity of body segments and chain belts; third, the effectiveness of the power per stroke and the propulsive work must be combined with the transitional effectiveness of the synchronous kinematic velocity to realize the same velocity of man and boat, and achieve the unity of boat and man; fourth, the estimated results of the two boats corresponding to different stroke rates are the key to reveal the velocity effectiveness of the power of the rowers' body segments.

Conclusion: The biomechanical test of LM2-rowing game can measure the arm’s, the trunk's and the leg’s dynamic change of the movement velocity, oar velocity and the power, and it can also describe the correlation between the factors and the rowers’- performance, which reflects adjustment of the rowers' synchronous kinematic velocity and their power ability. The measurement of related indexes helps set up a balance training plan mode for the rowers and consistently optimizes the effectiveness of the velocity of man and boat, which is of great guiding significance in practice.
