Abstract

The synthesis, characterization and pharmacological activities of a new series of 4-Hydroxy-2(3H)-benzoxazolone are described.CCl4-induced acute liver injury model in mice was determined by serum alanine aminot ransferase(ALT). Among the synthesized compounds, compound 4-hydroxy-2(3H)-benzoxazolone, 4-Acetyl-2(3H)-benzoxazolone, 3-4-Acetoxy-2(3H)-benzoxa- zolone was found to be the most promising compound for antihepatis.
